The student should understand that:
WIU does not have a campus in the USA. It only has the international office in the USA.
As an international university, WIU is subject to the local government regulations of the country where it operates. WIU is not approved to grant degrees by any particular state government in the USA.
The bachelor, master, and doctor degree from the WIU office is granted with approval of Accrediting Commission International (ACI) located in the state of Arkansas (USA). It is the responsibility of individual employers to assess the acceptability or recognition according to its own company policy.
It is the responsibility of
individual educational institutions to assess the acceptability or
recognition of credits from Wisconsin International University according to
its own university policy.
Students are advised to make inquiries in their countries regarding the
acceptance of the degree from WIU before enrolling in a degree program by
WIU. It is a matter of discretion for employers and organizations to accept
the degrees awarded by WIU.
